More than one million animal species are in danger of disappearing forever, many of them fading away quietly without most of us noticing. One of them is the South Eastern Striped Bandicoot. Small, shy, and active at night, this cute little marsupial plays an important role in its ecosystem and is now struggling to survive as its habitat disappears.
